Looks like my lil princes' violin classes will only be for half month this June. I waited for the music coach the other day for abt half an hour but she didn't turn up. Called up the phone, text her..X response. Only hours later I found out her handphone was left in the music school and her mom was admitted to the hospital.

New time slot was arranged, which is supposed to be today but she just called up to rescheduled again in the afternoon. Since we are planning to go to mass this evening, I'm a bit 'lazy' to rush things....and since her mom is still in the hospital, she suggested to just let my girl have a half month course (for JUNE) I'm have no prob with it...I hope that her mom will recover fast and will be discharge soon.

My prayers are with her esp to her sick mom. 

Donna Summer - The Disco Queen is Demised

The New York Daily News reported:

Donna Summer died Thursday morning after succumbing to a long battle with cancer, TMZ.com reported. She was 63.

Born in Boston on New Year’s Eve 1948, Summer came to define the sound of late ’70s and early ’80s radio with hits including “Last Dance”, “Bad Girls” and “She Works Hard for The Money”.

The five-time Grammy winner leaves behind two daughters with husband, songwriter Bruce Charles Sudano, and another daughter from a previous marriage.

I'm not so much of a disco fan but I do have a soft spot for this lady...RIP Donna Summer

WORLD CANCER DAY

2 Days ago was WORLD CANCER DAY. This was posted on my friend's wall and I would just like to share this to all readers as I found this information to be very interesting & useful as a 'guidance' to not let this disease take over our lives. A friend of ours recently passed away after battling wt colon cancer for about 5 years. There are family members who perished along wt CANCER...Personally, my own father was diagnosed wt colon cancer and was given only 1 month to live (it was only detected on the last stage, even after constant check-ups!) but that was in 1987. It was a miracle that he went through surgery and  eventhough chemo & radiation was scheduled to be after surgery, he didn't have to go. Even the doctors were puzzled but all of us were thankful & praise God for his glory! I for one believe in His miracle. Amen. 

I have another family member who is currently fighting this disease. She is on 3rd Stage of breast cancer and has gone through chemo. It wasn't a joyride but the will to recover in her is very strong. She has 3 growing up kids (5-16yrs old) to look forward to in years to come  and on my part, I'll give her all the support that she needs during these times, as and when required  :)

  Lets us all pray for those whose friend or loved one who is currently fighting, has survived, or lost their battle with Cancer and SHARE to pass the flame. This candle burns for them!
